Chris Herrberg, CPA, a native to Indiana, is a graduate of Purdue University.  Starting off the first few years of his accounting career in the Chicago area, he moved to San Antonio and has been practicing locally for over 15 years.   Chris joined Taylor & Vescio in 2014 after having worked with Karen Vescio at previous stops.  Outside of the office, Chris loves to spend time with his family, coach his kids’ sports teams, and home crafting his own beer. Go Chicago Cubs! 

Karen Vescio, CPA, with her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree of Accountancy, is a proud graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio. She has been practicing for over 25 years in the San Antonio area.  A former partner with Edelman Arnold, she became a Senior Tax Manager with Weaver & Tidwell upon their merger of firms.  After two years of corporate life, Karen joined forces with Dick Taylor (retired 2018) and went on her own to continue growing and serving her individual and small business clients with the flexibility she is known for. Outside of the office, Karen loves to cook, read books, play games and watch zombie movies with her family. 

We are proud to employ and mentor and two additional staff that are graduates of the University of Texas at San Antonio and will soon be studying for the CPA exams.  As an office, we pride ourselves in our staff being personal, professional, inquisitive and knowledgeable.
